As physical inactivity among children and youth becomes a growing concern, building a strong foundation of movement skills and fostering lifelong engagement in physical activity has become increasingly important.

This session brings together perspectives from government, academia, and the sports sector to examine how physical literacy can be effectively promoted in Thailand. Key topics include policy development, the role of technology and digital platforms, movement science in child development, and the importance of cross-sector collaboration.

The program consists of two parts:
13:00 – 15:00 Panel Discussion: Building Physical Literacy for an Active Generation
15:00 – 17:00 Practical Workshop

Participants will gain a broader understanding of how coordinated efforts can contribute to building a more active and healthy generation, along with practical insights that can be applied in real-world settings.
