A practical session exploring how strength training principles can enhance Pilates performance and movement control.

While Pilates focuses on precision and control, developing foundational strength is essential for safe and effective practice. Integrating strength-based approaches can improve stability, support movement quality, and enable better progression.

This session examines how general strength training can be applied within Pilates, including the use of light equipment such as rings, resistance bands, and dumbbells to build balanced, functional strength.

Participants will gain practical insight into preparing the body for Pilates, improving overall strength, and progressing safely into more advanced movement patterns.

Certified Balanced Body® Pilates Instructor for Mat, Reformer, and Apparatus, with a specialization in training pregnant and postpartum women.
